Stylish Bathroom for my Queens!

On the second floor of our home we have 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Our two daughters each have their own suite consisting of bedroom

and bathroom. This blog show what we did to their bathrooms.

We choose to make these two bathrooms pretty much identical as they more or less have the same layout.

Here is the before picture:

So this is what we did.....

First of all, we ripped up the old tiles, which was a lot of work because there was concrete underneath the tiles, which we had to break up. We replaced with new white/grey large tiles to make the space look more bright and spacious. #tiles

Next up was the Vanity. The Vanity was in good shape, however it needed a new counter top and sink and to be refinished. I usually like to refinish furniture, but in these two bathrooms we actually decided to replace with new once. We found a great piece at #wayfair which came with a marble top and build-in sink and matching mirror. This approach ended up being a much cheaper solution, than fixing the old piece up. Off course, I sold the old one on #facebookmarketplace.

We installed a new self cleaning toilet #selfcleaningtoilet from #Homedepot and added shiplap on the wall behind the toilet for some texture and interest #shiplap.

Both our daughters insisted on keeping the bathtubs, since they love taking baths, so we decided to keep them. We painted them white with Epoxy paint, which made it look brand-new and fresh. The good news is, we saved a lot of money and there is a 5 year warranty on this! #epoxy

We added nice glass doors for a clean, stylish look. #Homedepot #showerdoor

All trim and doors in the room was painted the same white we used in the rest of the house - High Reflective White (SW 7757) from #shermanwilliams. For the wall we painted a light grey - Gray Screen (SW 7071).

Over the vanity we hung a mirror and a new light fixture!

That pretty much complete the job!
